Editing Existing Trades

Update orders, fix typos, or add closing fills on an existing trade.

To edit a trade:

  1. Open Journal → Trades, click the trade, then click Edit - or go straight to /workspace/trades/:id/edit.
  2. Adjust orders, asset, direction, fees, or notes as needed.
  3. Save. Stats and the equity curve recompute automatically.

Common edits:

  • Add a fill you forgot - append a new order row.
  • Correct a typo'd price or quantity - edit the order in place.
  • Mark a trade as closed - add the closing orders that cover the open quantity; status flips to Closed automatically.

If you need to undo a delete, contact [email protected] - soft-deleted trades can be restored within a recovery window.
