Key takeaways
- The period selector scopes every Trading Dashboard widget to a date range.
- Presets cover Today, Last 7 days, Last 30 days, This month, This year, and All time.
- Custom ranges accept any start and end date.
- Trades are included by their close date - Active trades are excluded from period totals.
- Switching periods only changes what is shown, never the underlying data.
The period selector at the top of the Trading Dashboard scopes every widget on the page to a date range.
- Presets - Today, Last 7 days, Last 30 days, This month, This year, All time.
- Custom - pick a start and end date for arbitrary ranges (last quarter, a specific earnings week, etc.).
Trades are included based on their close date. Trades still in Active status don't yet have realized P&L and are excluded from period totals; they show up in their own widget.
Switching periods doesn't change your underlying data, only what's shown - you can flip between views safely.
