Understanding Dashboard Widgets

Where each widget lives and what data it draws from.

Key takeaways

  • Two dashboards live under Dashboard: Control Center and Trading Dashboard.
  • Control Center is the landing page with quick KPIs and shortcuts to recent activity.
  • Trading Dashboard holds the analytical widgets - equity curve, P&L, win rate, time analysis, and per-asset and per-flag performance.
  • All widgets read live from your Journal data and update as records change.
  • The period selector at the top of the Trading Dashboard scopes every widget to the same date range.

Two dashboards live under Dashboard in the sidebar:

  • Control Center (/workspace/dashboard/control-center) - the landing page. Quick KPIs, shortcuts to recent trades and entries, and a snapshot of account state.
  • Trading Dashboard (/workspace/dashboard/trading-dashboard) - the analytical view. Equity curve, P&L breakdown, win rate, time-of-day analysis, and per-asset and per-flag performance.

Each widget reads from your Journal data - trades, entries, and flags - and updates as you add or edit records. Use the period selector at the top of the Trading Dashboard to scope all widgets to the same date range at once.
