Viewing Asset Performance

See P&L, win rate, and trade count for each asset over any period.

Key takeaways

  • Each asset has its own performance page showing total P&L, win rate, trade count, and average return.
  • The period selector compares the same asset across different timeframes.
  • Per-asset stats also appear as a sortable widget on the Trading Dashboard.
  • Common use: prune instruments with high trade count but win rate under 40% and payoff under 1.0.

Each asset has its own performance view.

  1. Open Journal → Assets and click into the asset.
  2. The detail page shows total P&L, win rate, trade count, and average return for trades on that asset over the selected period.
  3. Use the period selector to compare across timeframes (last 30 days vs. all-time).

This is the fastest way to see whether an instrument is actually working for you. Many traders use it to prune their watchlist - instruments where you've taken a lot of trades but win rate is below 40% and payoff is below 1.0 are candidates to drop.

Per-asset stats also appear as a sortable widget on the Trading Dashboard.
